WP7 Cocos2D + Silverlight

I am trying to make a SL / XNA game with cocos2D for Winodows Phone. The reason for this is that I want to add advertisment on the menu pages and I also want the game to be compatible with WP7.

I have adapted the Cocos2D classes to accept a SharedGraphicsDeviceManager instead of a GraphicsDeviceManager.

It looks to me that the scene should be rendered (I can step through the code and the visit method is called for all CCNodes that have been added to the scene ). However, I only see a black screen.

Any help, ideas code examples ... of what can be wrong are welcome.

Hello Tom,

Cocos2d-XNA is already compatible with Windows Phone 7. The "Phone" projects are windows phone 7 projects.

Long ago in the x-for-xna days someone did a Silverlight port of that library (the precursor to the current Cocos2D-XNA project). You might be able to find that code upon under the C# forums. Just search for Silverlight and you will likely find it.

There is likely some other step you have to make for the SL port to work. I am no expert on Silverlight, sorry.
